Your new website, before you pay a penny

I'm Mike from Northampton. Websites are my main job, and I've decided to start doing my own freelance work. I really want to help local businesses, so to get started I'm building a few local businesses a proper website, and you see it before you pay a penny. I don't charge for the build, there's no contract and no card details. You only pay the running costs if you love it.

What I do, with no build feeDesign and build your website on Shopify, set it up properly for Google, connect your domain and show you how to use it. You own it outright.
What you pay, and who toOnly the running costs, paid straight to the companies, never to me: Shopify's own plan (about £30 a month) and a domain from GoDaddy if you don't already have one (usually about £10 to £20 a year).

So what's in it for me?

Honestly, it works out for both of us. You get a website that brings in customers. I get a real local project for my portfolio, a review if you are happy, and a small "Website by Ecomm Development" link in your footer. Some people keep me on afterwards to help them get found on Google, but there is no obligation at all.

How it works

  • Message me on WhatsApp or Facebook, or use the short form.
  • A quick chat. 10 to 15 minutes on the phone or WhatsApp so I understand your business.
  • You send photos and a bit about what you do, and I build it. Most sites are ready in about two weeks.
  • You check it, we tweak it, it goes live. I show you how to update it yourself.

Who am I?

My main job is running the online side of a large local retailer, so building and growing websites is what I do every day. Now I've started freelancing, and helping local businesses is what I want to be known for. Some of my work: Rock Bottom, Northampton, Airport Taxi Links, Volt & Spoke and Kitchen 94.
