These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website (EcommDevelopment.co.uk) and the services provided by Ecomm Development, trading as a sole trader in the United Kingdom. By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services Provided

Ecomm Development offers digital services including (but not limited to) website design, website development, e-commerce consultancy, SEO, and related business development services. Services are provided on a quoted and agreed basis.

3. Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance payable upon completion or in agreed instalments.

  • Payment methods will be confirmed at the point of invoicing.

  • Late payments may result in suspension of work and may incur interest charges in line with UK statutory guidelines.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide accurate and timely information required to complete the work.

  • You confirm that you have the rights or permission to use any materials (logos, text, images, video) supplied to Ecomm Development.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All design and development work remains the property of Ecomm Development until payment is made in full.

  • Once payment is complete, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to the client, excluding any third-party tools, software, or licences used.

6. Liability

  • Ecomm Development will provide services with reasonable care and skill.

  • However, no guarantee is made regarding specific financial outcomes (e.g. sales, traffic, ranking improvements).

  • Ecomm Development shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business interruption, or data loss.

7. Website Use

  • You may not misuse this website, attempt to hack it, or engage in unlawful activity while using it.

  • Content on this site is for informational purposes only and may not be copied without permission.

8. Cancellation

  • If you wish to cancel a project, written notice must be given. Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Where significant work has already been completed, additional fees may apply.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
